Lost Episode Review 3.2.2010 Season 6 Episode 6 Sundown The latest episode of Lost, which was entitled “Sundown” had Sayid stepping into the spotlight and leading virtually the entire episode. This episode was by far the most action packed, but still didn’t provide a lot of answers about what is really going on. Every week they promise us that answers will be revealed, but I’m beyond skeptical at this point. It’s kind of like the promos for the UFC that say every fight is the most anticipated fight in UFC history. After awhile you take the promos with a grain of salt and move on. It makes me wonder that with all the twists and turns that maybe even the producers don’t exactly know what is going on anymore! With only twelve episodes left I expect things to start coming into focus around the last half of the last 30 minutes of the last episode.
Anyway, Sayid did a great acting job in this episode and I was impressed with the fight scene between him and Dogen. You certainly can’t go wrong with an Iraqi torturer fighting a ninja in a temple in my book. That’s good TV right there! Although this episode didn’t provide the amount of Lost revelations I was hoping for, it was entertaining. What we did find out was that Sayid certainly had some darkness growing in him, which Dogen revealed to Jack a few episodes back. But it made me think that with all of the regrets that Sayid has had in his life, the darkness had been in there for a long time and he just gave in to it.
Another episode of Lost down and twelve more to go. Sundown did nothing but fan the flames of the virtually thousands of Lost theories out there, but that’s what keeps us coming back week after week. Don’t miss the next episode!
